ミュージカルは舞台もいいですが、映画になると視覚的聴覚的にも圧倒的な迫力があります。原作者ロイド・ウェバー自身が制作しているので猶更です。ファントムのジェラルド・バトラーも渋くて中々いいですが、クリスティーヌのエイミー・ロッサムが可憐で良いです。

この歌は劇が終わった後で画面上に流れます。歌手はカルロッタ役のMinnie Driverです。最後の言葉が胸に染みます。同じメロディで劇中で怪人が歌う曲がありましたが、何故か最終的にカットされたとのことです。下に載せます。
