憧れの人だったマリリン・モンローを偲んで、Ｅ.Johnが作曲し、1987年にメルボルン管弦楽団とのジョイントコンサートで歌った後に、シングル盤を出しヒットした。
マリリンモンローに捧げる歌も珍しいですね。元歌ですからメロディも歌詞もぴったりマッチしてます。ダイアナに捧げる歌はちょっと無理を感じます。No1ソングにはなりましたけど。
